Job description:

BASIC FUNCTION

Planning, coordination, implementation and control of marketing initiatives to drive sales with lead on Promotions & Advertising.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Market data gathering and analysis – internal & external

2.Planning

  1. Identifying problems & opportunities.
  2. Setting objectives and sales forecast
  3. Formulating marketing strategies.
  4. Development of marketing action programs.
  5. Work within parameters of the company’s financial targets.

3.Ensures flawless execution of set programs

4.Monitors & evaluates effectiveness of plans

 5.Areas of responsibility

  1. Sales promotion
  2. Advertising
  3. Local Store Marketing
  4. Product development in coordination with Research department & R&D/QA
  5. Market Research
  6. Key person to work with all agencies – advertising, media & publicity.
  7. Manages the Creative Services team
  8. Customer service planning and implementation
  9. Other areas of responsibility
